Stephen Griffiths, a 40 year old professional student, was arrested for the murder of a Yorkshire prostitute and suspicion of killing two others. When asked for his name in court, he said “The Crossbow Cannibal”, thus ensuring infamy and movie deals for years to come. Whether or not Stephen Griffiths is really a crossbow who eats other crossbows will be determined through a series of medical and psychological evaluations. If it turns out to be true, the court system may not be able to prosecute him, as he would essentially be an inanimate object not subject to the laws and punishments of the human world.
